Now a day, we need web site. Who have ability to pay; they take paid domain & hosting. Who have no ability; they take free domain & free hosting. Actually, no any site in the world provides free .com, .net, .org etc. like these domains completely free of cost. But, some company demand they provide free domain! Well, here I take an example. www.con.tl says, they are providing completely free domain & free cpanel hosting without any ads! Actually, they provide sub-domain! So, real domain never is completely free of cost. But, sub domain can be free.
So what is the problem & benefits of free domain?
If we take our example site con.tl offer, they are providing sub-domain of con.tl, movi.name, cit.bz, dhk.me . This is actually not so prestigious. Even, the future selling value of these domains is may be not too high. But, the facility is its totally free of cost. They provide free cpanel hosting with webmail/pop mail facilities. So, we can use this domain for commercial purpose as well. If we want, we can develop our personal or company web site completely free of cost. Besides, we can develop an adsense income related site & earn money using this domain & hosting. It is also helpful for short name domain. For .com domain, we can’t find a good small name now a day. But, we can get a super name from here. So, its really wonderful on this sense. Like, we can take www.accounting.con.tl . But, we can’t get like this name on .com domain. So, if we are not ready to pay money, free domain is best for us.

First of all we need to know the price of paid domain. If I take an example of paid domain provide. This is the big disadvantage. Besides, we need to pay renew charge every year. So, it’s a costly item. But, if you run a professional organization, you must need to take a paid domain for your organization prestige. Besides, the sales value of paid domain is always high. If you have a paid domain & the name is wonderful, you can easily sale that domain.
So, my suggestion is, if you have a commercial organization, you may take both domains at a time. Free domain for short name & paid domain for your professionalism.
